Welcome to the Beter Geregeld ICT blog
From now on, you'll find practical guides here on access management, compliance, offboarding, and administration — written for business owners and office managers, not IT architects.
Welcome to the Beter Geregeld ICT blog. We're launching this platform because we've noticed that a lot of SMB-specific knowledge is scattered across Slack channels, LinkedIn posts, and half-shared PDFs — but never properly accessible to the people who deal with it every day.
\n\nWho are we writing for?
\nNot for IT consultants charging €150 an hour. But for the office manager who needs to know by Thursday at 2 pm why the new marketing hire still can't get into Salesforce. For the CFO who doesn't want to wrestle with spreadsheets during the next ISO audit. For the co-owner who somehow became the IT administrator too — hopefully only temporarily.
\n\nWhat's it about?
\nFive recurring themes run through everything we write:
\n- \n
- Access management — who has access to what, and how to stay on top of it without it becoming a second job. \n
- Compliance without bureaucracy — what ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 actually require from SMBs. \n
- Watertight offboarding — the most important part of IT governance that almost nobody talks about. \n
- SMB administration — invoicing, subscriptions, VAT, reminders, without spending €80/month on SaaS. \n
- Practical security — what you can do this quarter, not what the theoretically ideal setup would look like. \n
What does an article look like?
\nShorter than a textbook chapter, longer than a tweet. Always with a concrete takeaway: a template, a step-by-step order, a checklist, a screenshot from our own tools. Where relevant, we link to related guides so you can chart your own path through the material.
\n\nAt the bottom of each article you'll find related guides based on the same topics. That way the blog quickly becomes a knowledge network rather than a linear feed.
\n\nStart here
\nNot sure where to begin? The pillar guides (recognisable by the ★ symbol) give a complete overview of each theme. Supporting articles sit beneath them, each diving into one specific aspect. You can read top-down, or jump in from a specific question and navigate further via the related links.
\n\nHappy reading — and get in touch if there's a topic you'd like to see covered. We'd rather write about your real-world problem than about something that just ranks well.
